Aluminum sulfate


Aluminum sulfate is a solid white crystalline form, also known as alum or white alum. Ability to absorb and maintain water from the surrounding area. It is soluble in small amounts in alcohol and dense minerals. This substance is not volatile and flammable, but it is highly acidic. When dissolved in water, it finds acidic form, and its PH reaches less than 2.



About 50% of this material is used in paper, carton and paperboard. In the treatment of water and sewage as a binder, it is used in the zinc industry. Paper and paper dyeing is used as a stabilizer. In the pharmaceutical industry, laboratory is used. The accelerator is used in concrete, a clarifying agent in fats and oils, and as a foaming agent in the foam.
