It is insoluble in water and acts as a condenser, a holder for waxes, oils, solvents, protective coatings for moisturizing and lubricating powders and resins. In the food industry, its most important use is as an emulsion. Naturally, the body develops from the decomposition of pancreatic lipase lipids. It is also found in fatty foods.
It is used in the food, beverage, pharmacy, sanitary, cosmetic, creams, lotions, powders, skin cleansers, cosmetic bases and creams, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, hair amplifiers, tanning agents and sunscreens.
