Polyethylene glycol


Polyethylene glycol has a low toxicity and is therefore easily used in many products. It is used as a sliding coating for many surfaces and aquatic and non-aquatic environments. It is soluble in water, methanol, gasoline, dichloromethane and is insoluble in hexane and ethylene ether. The basic substance is a lot of laxatives.


Applications and Uses

This material has various uses in the fields of industrial, medical, pharmaceutical and food products. Used in gas chromatography. Used to keep objects underwater out of service. It is used in spectroscopic experiments. For many hand and toothpaste creams are used. It is used in paintball bullets. It is used to prevent food fouling. In the production of rubber, pesticides and spinning industries, weaving, detergents, soaps, and tiles.
